This top picture was taken around 7:15am, after it had stopped snowing. I can't wait until later when it's actually light outside and I can take pictures without the flash. It'll show how bright it is outside!
Is that not the coolest thing? Snow was falling for the second time in 2009. This is after we came home from the ER, for Ken's eye. This was about 2:20am. Weird thing though, it was barely even coming down when we left about 12:15am. It started coming down hard when we were at the hospital. It was sticking to the cars and bushes, but not the street.
Here's the difference between taking pictures at 2:30am without a flash...
You really can't see anything, but I could, and it was so beautiful!
And with the flash...
This is the same view as above. I love how it caught the snowflakes coming down.
It was about 37 degrees when we left the pharmacy with Ken's prescriptions, and by the time we got home, and I'm talking like 5 miles maybe, it was 33 degrees.
But just to let everyone know, Ken is fine. He went out with the neighbor on the 4-wheeler, and Lynn pushed some branches out of the way, Ken grabbed them as they drove by them, but one was a little longer than he thought and it got him IN his eye.
The neatest thing, besides the snow, was that I got to see the scratch in his eye. Dr. White put the dye in his eye, and used the UV light to look in his eye. Bright green spot on his cornea showed where the scratch was. So he got a prescription for some ointment and some oral pain medicine. I feel so bad for him, he really had to trust me last night, cause he could not bear to open his eyes, I was leading him around the hospital. And I was nice, I did NOT make him walk into anything.
